2025 has been a big year in the District delivering on our mission to promote Whole Health and innovation by bringing together the best and the brightest.
Here are seven of our top highlights from this landmark year:
1. HLTH Europe and WHX Dubai
Throughout 2025, we attended several leading international events, strengthening our global presence, alongside many of our provider partners. These gatherings gave us the chance to connect and share insights with global healthcare leaders and industry pioneers. We were proud to see our partners delivering compelling presentations, live demonstrations, and panel discussions. They showcased advancements in patient-centred care and digital transformation on an international stage.
2. Hale House
In April, London’s newest HealthTech hub officially opened on Portland Place in partnership with Spacemade. Designed for HealthTech startups, investors, and healthcare pioneers, Hale House is accelerating innovation by connecting startups to an ecosystem of over 2,500 healthcare professionals, cutting-edge testing facilities, and key industry leaders through curated and exclusive events. Find out more about Hale House here.
3. Partner Forum
We were delighted to host our Partner Forum at Hale House in September. It brought together occupiers, healthcare professionals, and local partners. We shared our vision for the future of the District, gave updates on recent developments, and introduced the next phase of our strategy. The forum created space for meaningful connections to be made, idea-sharing, and strengthened relationships across our community.
4. Mental Health Innovation Showcase
In October, our partnership with the Mental Health Innovation Network brought the Mental Health Innovation Showcase to Hale House. The event featured three provider-innovator case studies, each demonstrating how innovative models of care are improving outcomes for patients and providers alike. Five carefully selected startups presented their solutions to a panel of experts who offered guidance on translation and scaling for real world impact. Read about the event here.
5. District Digest
Also in October, we launched our monthly bulletin, the Harley Street Health District Digest. Each issue features essential news items, new occupiers, upcoming events and opportunities, and more. Readership continues to grow, and the Digest has quickly become the trusted update for our community. Sign up to receive the next edition here.
6. People of Harley Street Health District
We launched a video series designed to celebrate the unique people who make our community thrive. Each episode follows one individual through their day in the District, from their journey to work and favourite lunch spot to their proudest professional moments. From inventors transforming care, clinicians undertaking life-saving work, restauranteurs creating connections, and investors shaping the future of health. These videos have since become our most engaged with social posts.
Profiles to date include:
- Jack Porter (Co-Director for the NHS Innovation Accelerator, UCLPartners)
- Paul Bakker (Head Healthcare Asset Manager, The Howard de Walden Estate)
- Dr Emer MacSweeney (Consultant Neuroradiologist, CEO & Co-Founder, Re:Cognition Health).
7. In Conversation: the Harley Street Health District Podcast
Another launch – a brand-new podcast and video series. Our debut episode is a must-watch featuring three CEOs shaping the future of the world’s oldest health district. John Reay (HCA Healthcare UK) , Al Russell (The London Clinic), and Mark Kildea (The Howard de Walden Estate), were seated side-by-side, and joined by our host, Professor Jenny Shand. Each bringing decades of expertise and knowledge, they explored the District’s vital role in driving innovation and expanding its influence on the UK healthcare economy. The conversation highlighted the need for a united approach to elevate London’s position as a global healthcare destination and attract a larger share of the £15bn international health tourism market. Listen to or watch it here.
We would like to thank all Harley Street Health District providers, occupiers, and members for their continued engagement in 2025 – and for the extraordinary work that they do to improve patient care, whether it be through groundbreaking research, HealthTech and innovation, or enhancing treatment pathways.
2026 looks to be an exciting year. As the healthcare landscape continues to shift, we are committed to supporting our provider partners, fostering collaboration and driving innovation across multiple specialties. We are dedicated to positioning the District, it’s providers, and London, as a world-class global leader in health, care, and innovation.
