Hale House 2025 Wrapped: our first year in the Harley Street Health District

Natalie Brown in Hale House

Hi everyone, I’m Natalie Brown, Community Manager at Hale House. Whether you’ve just passed by or work in the Harley Street Health District, have popped in to Hale House for a meeting or an event, or you’re at home in one of our private offices or co-working spaces, our paths have almost definitely crossed.

Hale House was created for the builders and backers of health innovation, the teams solving real problems in care delivery, patient experience, productivity and outcomes, and when we opened our doors in April 2025, we set out to create something simple but powerful: a dedicated hub for healthtech innovators, a place where founders, clinicians, providers, investors and insurers could meet, work, learn and collaborate to accelerate healthcare transformation.

From day one, we have offered state of the art flexible workspace designed around the way healthtech teams operate. That includes private office space for focused teams, flexible co-working memberships for founders, operators and hybrid teams, bookable meeting rooms for everything from investor catch-ups to provider workshops, and a fully equipped podcast studio for stories, insights and sector conversations.

But what matters most is not the floor plan. It is the energy. We are a community in the heart of one of the most vibrant and globally respected health districts, and 2025 proved that when we connect world-class providers and innovators in the same location, we can start to meaningfully transform the future of whole health.

Since it’s the season of reflection, here is how our first chapter has shaped up: Hale House 2025 Wrapped…

  • We welcomed 6,340 people through the doors.
  • Our community grew to 211 members, including 30 founding members across the industry who helped shape and champion Hale House in early testament to the strength of our vision.
  • We hosted 65 events in total, including 28 especially for members.
  • Alongside the programme, we ran 18 wellbeing activities, because sustainable innovation needs sustainable humans.
  • Having 30 founding members across the industry from providers to innovators that helped shape and champion Hale House early is a testament to the strength of our vision for a home for Healthtech.
  • And at Humdinger, our café, 2,501 coffees were served, which has quickly become the unofficial fuel of the District.

Every number reflects conversations, collaborations, and moments of momentum, and we are proud of every single one.

And there are, of course, many highlights.

The first Mental Health Innovation Showcase was an absolute stand out! Led by Founding Member Aahuti Rai, the Mental Health Innovation Network and Harley Street Health District brought together leaders across mental health and healthtech for a day centred on practical collaboration and shared ambition to improve care. The programme highlighted what partnership looks like in action through case studies such as Priory and Psyomics, Vitality and Wysa, and North East London NHS Foundation Trust and TMS Insight, alongside startup demos from Dr Julian, Embers the Dragon, Affiniti AI, Speek and XR Therapeutics. The message was clear throughout: innovation is already happening, and scaling it depends on trust, infrastructure and community.

We have also loved hosting One HealthTech events, bringing oh so much fun and creating space for connection, allyship and a more inclusive health innovation ecosystem.

That same energy has also been the golden thread running through our entire regular events programme, dedicated to helping our community to grow their businesses (Startup Lab), networks (Hash It Out) and visibility (Launchpad), through honest and practical on stage conversation with experts who have been there and done it – there is plenty more of that in store for next year!

None of this would be possible without our members and partners. It has been such a privilege to be a part of their journeys and celebrate their many, many wins. Since opening, we’ve seen two members launch out of stealth with a women’s health startup, another host the Deputy Mayor of London for Business and Growth, closed funding rounds, and the list goes on…

As we head into 2026, expect more energy and even more opportunity for curated connections. We really want to create something that reflects what the community actually needs, so if you are building, scaling, investing in, or supporting health innovation, we would love to welcome you in.

See you in the coffee queue at Humdinger in the New Year, and don’t forget to pinch a piece of fruit from the front desk on the way out!
