Cedars-Sinai Clinic London officially unveiled in the Harley Street Health District

Cedars-Sinai has officially launched its flagship clinic outside of the US in the Harley Street Health District. This marks a significant moment for the organisation’s global expansion. The launch took place on 19 May at 76 New Cavendish Street, bringing together leading figures from across the healthcare sector to celebrate the arrival of the clinic.

The evening centred on the unveiling of the new facility, with guests invited to explore the four-floor clinic through a guided walkthrough. Designed to deliver integrated primary care, executive health and concierge services, the clinic reflects a growing demand for personalised, consultant-led care in a single, high-spec environment.

Celebrations continued at The Wallace Collection where attendees included a mix of local and international leaders, highlighting the importance of the milestone for both the UK and US. Among those present were Howard Dawber, Deputy Mayor of London, Mark Kildea, Chief Executive of The Howard de Walden Estate, and members of the executive team from Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.

Guests were welcomed by Cedars-Sinai leadership, including Dr Peter Slavin, President and CEO of Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre and Health System; Heitham Hassoun, Chief Executive of Cedars-Sinai International; Dr Lawrence Piro, Medical Director for the Global Care Programme; and David Wrigley, Chief Financial Officer of Cedars-Sinai. Actress Joan Collins, who has a long-standing association with Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, also attended, expressing her enthusiasm for the organisation’s expansion to London.

Speaking at the launch, Dr Peter Slavin emphasised the long-term commitment behind the clinic:
“For Cedars-Sinai this is the beginning of a long-term commitment. We’ve been caring for Los Angeles since 1902 – almost 125 years – and we intend to be here in London for generations to come.”

Heitham Hassoun also highlighted the wider ambition underpinning the opening:
“Our Clinic in London is the starting point for the Cedars-Sinai global care programme, a vision that focuses on bringing care closer to patients wherever they are globally.”

The launch builds on Cedars-Sinai’s existing UK collaboration with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, further strengthening ties between clinical teams and reinforcing the Harley Street Health District’s position as a global hub for specialist healthcare and international collaboration.
